Does it really work with no internet?
Yes. The AI model runs on the box's own hardware, so chat, your document answers, and everything your team does works fully offline, on the office wifi. The only thing that ever needs the internet is optional Web Access (for looking up current info) and a small licence/update check — never your data.
Where does our data actually live?
On your box, in your building. Every document, question, and answer is stored and processed on the machine itself. Nothing is sent to us or to any cloud AI company. If every AI vendor vanished tomorrow, your office AI still works Monday morning.
What do you (the company) receive from our box?
Two tiny, optional signals: an update check (your software version + licence number) and, if you turn on a custom web address, your box's local network address. Never document contents, chats, file names, or anything your team types. See our Privacy and Security pages.
How does the AI know facts if it isn't online?
The model studied a huge amount of text during training and compressed what it learned into the file that runs on your box — like a well-read colleague who remembers concepts without carrying a library. General knowledge is built in; for anything current or company-specific, you add Web Access or upload your own files.
Can it answer from our own company documents?
Yes — that's the point. Upload your policies, contracts, and files into role-based folders, and your team gets instant answers with sources, drawn from your files rather than the internet.
Who can see what? Is it team-aware?
Fully. Every person gets their own login. You set roles, and folders, chats, calendars, and team rooms all respect them — HR files stay with HR, and shared knowledge is scoped to the right people.
What about updates — are they free?
Every box and software licence includes one full year of free software and security updates from purchase. After that, an optional Care Plan keeps updates and new features coming. Your box keeps working forever either way — it simply runs the version it has.
What is the Care Plan?
A monthly plan (cancel anytime) that keeps your updates flowing after the first year and adds a real human in your corner: priority support, remote fixes while you work, and proactive box-health monitoring. It's optional — your box never stops working without it.
What hardware do I need for the software version?
An Apple Silicon Mac or a modern PC with 16 GB+ of memory runs the everyday engine well; 32 GB+ unlocks the stronger engines, including image reading. It installs in minutes and checks your machine during setup. Or skip all that and buy the ready-made box.
How many people can use it?
Everyone in your office — there are no per-seat fees. Add as many logins as you like at no extra cost.
What if it breaks, or I change my mind?
30-day returns from delivery for a full refund if it doesn't work as promised, and a one-year hardware warranty on the box. See Terms.
Which AI models does it run?
White-labelled, open-weight models (Apache-2.0 licensed) tuned and maintained by us, running locally through the Ollama engine. You pick a tier by how much answering power you want; we handle the rest.
